中国佛教 Chinese Buddhism

为了方便与中国信佛教的朋友沟通，并且因为自己也有兴趣，我打算学一点有关中国佛教的知识。我买了一本《中国佛教》的书。我读这本书的时候在中文笔记网站写了很短的中英双言总结。（感谢读者的意见。）

So that I could communicate conveniently with Chinese Buddhist friends and for my own personal interest I want to study some Chinese Buddhism. I bought a book called “Chinese Buddhism.” While reading it I am writing a very brief Chinese English billingual summary on the Chinese Notes web site. (Thanks for suggestions from the reader.)

老舍茶馆 Teahouse by Lao She

我刚看完老舍茶馆并翻译成英文。可惜的是因为老舍茶馆还有几年版权我不能上传网站。但是在中文笔记网站用了茶馆的一些句子当做汉英词典的例证。茶馆里边的人物和语言真的有意思。

I just finished reading Tea House by Lao She and also translated it into English. It is a pitty that I cannot put it on the web site because there is still some time left before copyright expires. However, I used some sentences from Teahouse in the dictionary on chinesenotes.com as example sentences. The language in Tea House is really fun.

我搬家了到北京 I moved to Beijing

我今年四月份搬家到了北京。在这我的中文学习环境比较理想。可是我工作很忙没有足够学习的时间。我一直在做中文笔记网站但是没有写此博客。最近国庆节的黄金周我去了厦门在那边同心儿童院待了七天。那边的孩子真好。我教了英语和作了一些翻译工作。那是一个非常幸福的黄金周。

In April this year I moved to Beijing. Here my study language is ideal. However, my work has been so busy that I have not had enough time to study. I have continued to work on the chinesenotes.com web site but have not written in this blog. Recently, for the National Day Holiday I went to Xiamen to the Tongxin Children's Home, where I stayed seven days. The children there were wonderful. I taught some English and did some translation work. It was a fantastic Golden Week.
