Chinese language cannot be separated from Chinese history. In books, news, idioms, television programs, and movies, I have frequently come across historic people and events that I am not familiar with. So, I decided to study some Chinese history. Now, perhaps my knowledge of Chinese history is more than my knowledge of US history but I still feel that it is only a very little. During my study I found that many proper nouns, particularly names of people and events, were not in other dictionaries, so I decided to organize the terms in a database. I used time and labels to organize the terms.
